Les signes de la PHLÉBITE à ne pas manquer   Si Les signes de la PHLÉBITE à ne pas manquer   Si vous présentez : -       Une rougeur des jambes -       Une sensation de chaleur au niveau des jambes -       Un œdème (gonflement) de la jambe -       Une douleur des jambes (en particulier au niveau mollet et cuisse) -       Une gêne à la marche   Vous POUVEZ faire une PHLEBITE. Vous devez donc consulter un Angiologue-Phlébologue IMMEDIATEMENT ! C’est une URGENCE MEDICALE à prendre en charge au plus vite. Le risque est vital !     Une « phlébite » (thrombose veineuse) est un caillot de sang qui bouche en partie ou totalement une veine.   Ce caillot peut se former dans une veine profonde, il s’agit d’une « thrombose veineuse profonde ou « phlébite ». Ce caillot peut se former dans une veine superficielle, il s’agit d’une « thrombose veineuse superficielle » ou « paraphlébite ».   Diagnostiquée tôt et traitée rapidement, la « phlébite » reste alors localisée à l’endroit où elle est apparue.   En revanche, en cas d’évolution sans traitement elle peut s’étendre (passer de la jambe vers la cuisse par exemple) et même parfois, provoquer une EMBOLIE PULMONAIRE. Une embolie pulmonaire se produit lorsque le caillot, ou une partie du caillot, remonte vers le cœur et les artères du poumon, et bloque cette fois, une partie de la circulation pulmonaire. C’est une complication grave de la « phlébite » car il peut exister un risque vital.   Quels sont les facteurs de risque de PHLEBITE :   -       Immobilisation (plâtre, paralysie, voyage de longue durée), chirurgie récente -       grossesse, contraceptif ou traitement hormonal de la ménopause contenant des œstrogènes, -       antécédent de phlébite, -       tabagisme -       cancer, traitement des cancers (chimiothérapie), -       maladie chronique inflammatoire, -       maladies génétiques biologiques                 Comment diagnostiquer une phlébite ?   L’examen écho-Doppler veineux est « l’examen de référence » pour le diagnostic de  « phlébite ».   Facilement réalisable, l’écho-Doppler veineux est un examen d’imagerie non douloureux utilisant les ultrasons et n’ayant pas de contre-indication, même chez la femme enceinte. Les signes de la PHLÉBITE : Si vous présentez Les signes de la PHLÉBITE : Si vous présentez : - Une rougeur des jambes - Une sensation de chaleur au niveau des jambes - Un œdème (gonflement) de la jambe - Une douleur des jambes (en particulier au niveau mollet et cuisse) - Une gêne à la marche Vous POUVEZ faire une PHLEBITE. Vous devez donc consulter un Angiologue-Phlébologue IMMEDIATEMENT ! C’est une URGENCE MEDICALE à prendre en charge au plus vite. Le risque est vital ! Une « phlébite » (thrombose veineuse) est un caillot de sang qui bouche en partie ou totalement une veine. Ce caillot peut se former dans une veine profonde, il s’agit d’une « thrombose veineuse profonde ou « phlébite ». Ce caillot peut se former dans une veine superficielle, il s’agit d’une « thrombose veineuse superficielle » ou « paraphlébite ». Diagnostiquée tôt et traitée rapidement, la « phlébite » reste alors localisée à l’endroit où elle est apparue. En revanche, en cas d’évolution sans traitement elle peut s’étendre (passer de la jambe vers la cuisse par exemple) et même parfois, provoquer une EMBOLIE PULMONAIRE. Une embolie pulmonaire se produit lorsque le caillot, ou une partie du caillot, remonte vers le cœur et les artères du poumon, et bloque cette fois, une partie de la circulation pulmonaire. C’est une complication grave de la « phlébite » car il peut exister un risque vital. Quels sont les facteurs de risque de PHLEBITE : - Immobilisation (plâtre, paralysie, voyage de longue durée), chirurgie récente - grossesse, contraceptif ou traitement hormonal de la ménopause contenant des œstrogènes, - antécédent de phlébite, - tabagisme - cancer, traitement des cancers (chimiothérapie), - maladie chronique inflammatoire, - maladies génétiques biologiques Comment diagnostiquer une phlébite ? L’examen écho-Doppler veineux est « l’examen de référence » pour le diagnostic de « phlébite ». Facilement réalisable, l’écho-Doppler veineux est un examen d’imagerie non douloureux utilisant les ultrasons et n’ayant pas de CI, même chez la femme enceinte. Comment traiter une phlébite ?
